Innkeepers & Staff
Bob & Renee Hodges –Homestead Inn Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers
Bob’s love of cooking, Renee’s passion for hospitality, and their interest in travel and history led to their dream of becoming innkeepers.
After years in the education field, when a career change opportunity presented itself, they decided to step out on faith and pursue their dream.
They sold their Georgia home and relocated, after accepting a position at a historic Virginia B&B. It was indeed everything they had ever hoped and dreamt and more.
They only had one thing left on the “Dream Wish List” and that was to live and operate a historic inn in New England.
April 1, 2016 they relocated to New Milford to work with owner, John Farley.
They shared his enthusiasm and vision to see the Homestead Inn be restored to its place as an invaluable part of the community.
They were thrilled to get to be a part of every aspect of working toward the Grand Re-opening of the inn.
The Homestead Inn staff is always available to respond to your needs and requests for information and assistance. Our staff is trained in the art of hospitality and delight in making sure that our guests receive the highest level of attention from the day of arrival to the day of departure. The personal attention of the bed & breakfast lodging experience is an important part and one of the many reasons that we have one of the highest rated inns in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut.
